Name: Ko-mo Oh
Age: 18
Canon: Snow Drop
Canon Point:vol 9. After the 2 year timeskip.
Appearance: link
Background: Okay, so grab your popcorns because this canon is more or less modern take on romeo and juliet in soap-opera form!!

Sometime after soon Ko-Mo's birth his father passed away, leaving him, his mother and two older brothers alone. Things were pretty bad for them as they had to struggle living in poverty but nonetheless the family was happy. That is until his oldest brother, Gae-Ri, suddenly died under mysterious circumstances. The police said that it was a motorcycle accident but for some reason there was no body to be found? Sure sounds fishy. Or at least Ko-Mo thought so. Unfortunately, this tragedy was the last drop that the family could tell and it tore them apart. Ko-Mo's mother couldn't handle the loss and had a mental breakdown, making her fall into vegetable-like state where she couldn't walk, speak nor recognize anyone around her -- including her sons. Which then left Ko-Mo and his older brother Hae-Gi fend for themselves. They somehow got by with the help of neighbors and picking up random part-time jobs. As they grew up Hae-Gi started to work at different convenient stores, gas stations and modelling. He was the more responsible one who paid for most of their living and their mother's hospital bills. Ko-Mo also got interested in fashion and started to work at hair salon.

Ko-Mo never got over his brother's death and mother's hospitalization and firmly believed that there was something more than what police let them know. He swore that he saw suspicious men in black to barging into their home and assaulting their mother, believing it to cause her breakdown. However, no one believed him and his claims were just cast off as child's wild imagination. A way to cope so to speak. So, he shut down and began to investigate Gae-Ri's death -- meanwhile Hae-Gi found himself a rich but withdrawn girlfriend So-Na (the main character of this story).

One day he came across a guy named Ha-Da, So-Na's best friend and also only son of local mafioso. Ha-Da had made a rather big name for himself as a party dude and ladies man and it just happened that he set eyes on Ko-Mo, after mistaking him for a girl (which, to be fair, happens with 90% of the time). He began to chase after him, which at first deeply annoyed Ko-Mo. However, once he found out just what kind of organization his father runs Ko-Mo gave in and started to dress up as a girl, pretending to go out with Ha-Da while he milked information out of him that could be related to his brother's death. It did take some time from Ko-Mo to get over his pride and swallow the anger he felt whenever giggling at men and their flirting but he still managed to keep the farce up for several weeks.

During that time a medical miracle happened so to speak: after staying hospitalized for years Ko-Mo's mother started to get better and eventually became aware of her surroundings, remembering her sons again.

It eventually became clear to him that he couldn't get anything useful from Ha-Da and things really escalated when he tried to "break up" with him which ended up him revealing that he's actually a man. This revelation hit Ha-Da pretty hard as he had started to grow genuine feelings of love and affection towards his "girlfriend." The shock was too great for him to handle and he fainted as his castle on the cloud came crashing down.

Meanwhile this was going on So-Na and Hae-Gi were dealing with pretty bad drama themselves, which mostly was from her father not accepting their relationship. Congressman Yu (So-Na's father) did everything in his power to separate these two but they wouldn't give in. So eventually So-Na's father had no other choice but begrudgingly tell the reason why he resented Hae-Gi so much: So-Na had been kidnapped when she was just about 12 years old and used to get handsome ransom money from her rich parents. These kidnappers were bunch of older teenagers who then raped her while holding her in custody. Fortunately, with help of Ha-Da's father she was found and rescued. The offenders were dealt with by throwing them off the cliff and everyone thought that this nightmare was over. However, So-Na was suffering from great trauma after her abduction and started to lash out. Her mother collapsed from the shock of the events and eventually died. So, what does this tragedy have to do with Hae-Gi and his family? Well, it just turns out that the mastermind behind the crime was Gae-Ri, the older brother of Ko-Mo and Hae-Gi.

As hard it was to hear the truth the young couple still wanted to be together and decided to run away. Needlessly to say that their attempted escape didn't work out as they wanted: they ended up in bike accident and then were dragged back to So-Na's father, who insisted that they don't only break up but also that Hae-Gi would move away with his family. If they refused he would make him and his family suffer. They had no other choice than do what he wanted. Luckily Hae-Gi had gained connections through his modeling career and he managed to find a job and apartment where he could stay with his family in New York.

So that's where I'm taking Ko-Mo. He's not only been forced away from his home, leaving his while old life behind. And more importantly? He now knows that he's been right about Gae-Ri's death not being an accident. After living in States for two years Ha-Da suddenly appeared there, seeking for Ko-Mo so that they could finally settle down the thing they had between them. But while he was confessing his undying love for him Ko-Mo stabbed him right to the gut with his pocket knife and fled from the scene.

CRAU: n/a

Personality:
"You are in for a hot ride. Ko-Mo's a wacko and no one can control him." Those are the first words that we hear about Ko-Mo after he was introduced in the series... Right after he pretended to make out with his older brother while he was working as cashier and in a heartbeat faked to be his girlfriend so uh yeah. That's one way to make a debut?

The term bold is one that comes to mind when trying to describe Ko-Mo. Because that's what he is. His appearance alone speaks as much: he dyes his long hair with bright colors and perms it, which are very much against the social norms, and he wears very... frisky and flamboyant outfits (skin tight mini shorts, snake leather cowboy boots and crop top for an example). It's no wonder that he catches many looks whenever he goes out to downtown. However, he carries himself with confidence. Ko-Mo's very much comfortable within his own skin and doesn't mind standing out -- in fact, he welcomes it and the attention. He's comfortable with his own person, too, openly enjoying his weird sense of humor (making out with your brother to troll others? That's just beginning) and is openly enjoying himself. What others think or how they see him has very little meaning to Ko-Mo, which is why he doesn't hesitate to speak out his mind and call out others on things he disagrees, for better and worse. Overall, Ko-Mo is bold and strong, walking proudly on the path that he has chosen for himself in life with no fear.

Unfortunately, however, that path is highly destructive. I did mention that he stands out and that he pretty much invites the attention. He's confident, strong and unstoppable and he makes sure that everyone else knows that too. He might not look like it but Ko-Mo's quite aggressive and violent person. He walks the streets, picks up fights and seeks out the trouble. In the canon we see him showing up to places often covered up in different kinds of injuries and such. It's really just like Hae-Gi described him: he's crazy and out of control. He does whatever he wants without paying much mind to those who might suffer from his actions: including his opponents or those who're close to him.

His cruelty isn't limited only to physical violence. Ko-Mo is everything but above of using and manipulating others. The case with Ha-Da is quite good example: he continuously kept lying to him, using his status and power and taking advantage of his feelings. He only viewed the other boy as a tool to get what he wanted, not giving a fuck about hurt his actions caused. That's pretty much how we treats and sees people overall: tools to be used to gain his own interests and then later to be cast aside.

His destructive behavior isn't only aimed at the others but to himself as well. He seeks out for adrenaline rush through the fights, trying to find outlet for all the pent up anger and frustration he has, uses people and hurts those who try to love him. It's also revealed that he uses sex and possibly some mild drugs to get that same rush -- with both women and men. Later in canon point when he's trying to aggravate Ha-Da he reveals that during his stay in New York he had a rich boyfriend (read: sugar daddy) from who he milked money off. Obsessed with idea of revenge, he's so full of negativity that he'll eventually explode. Ko-Mo is that kind of person who wants to watch the world burn around him -- even if it means that he'll go down with it.

So where does all this come from? What drives him into acting like this? Well, deep down, underneath all the toughness and cruelty lies rather insecure and hurt side of Ko-Mo. He went through traumatic event when he was still just a small child as he lost both his older brother and mother, without having anyone talk about his fears and anxiety as no one believed his story. To say that he has trust issues is putting it very mildly. He might be confident in himself he's still quite insecure when it comes to others. Funny combination, isn't it? He's very much afraid of being hurt by others which is why he always attacks and hurts others first. The idea of love is another thing that brings him great anxiety. He doesn't know how to react to such feelings and would rather want push others away by making himself very difficult to love. He's harsh and cruel towards others but in the end he's the one who suffers the most from his own actions.

Weaknesses/Temptations:
During Ko-mo's entire short life he has harbored great amount of frustration and anger. And at this point he's more or less thrown away his self-control and is very attracted to different vices, carnal pleasure, substance abuse to some degree but most importantly: violence. He is stubborn and given up on his own life and seeks an outlet where to pour his anger and hatred towards the world, no matter who he hurts. He simply doesn't care anymore. Let the world burn.

On top of that Ko-mo also feels insecure and has hard time to love himself. Thanks to growing up alone with his brother, who downright ignored his fears, has made him feel unworthy and scared of love - - which is why he tends to hurt others, to keep himself safe.

Sins:
- Failing to protect his family (twice)
- Lying
- Faking a personhood
- Manipulation
- Lack of empathy
- Multiple violence crimes (Destruction of (public and private) property, theft, Gang activity)
- Attempted murder
- Wrath

Powers/Abilities: No superpowers or whatsoever here! Ko-Mo's normal human being. As for abilities? Well, he's pretty good fighter. He's studied and practiced several martial arts and gained quite lot of experience from street fights. However, just like mentioned: he's normal human being and definitely not unbeatable. Other than that, since he's worked at hair salons he has pretty good grasp on chemistry.

Items: Other than the clothes he's currently wearing: switchblade, pack of cigarettes, lighter, hairbrush, blue contact lenses and a tape recorder.

Right so. I can't be the only one who's kind of disappointed? This whole fire a brimstone setting is getting old you know. It's like someone got an idea to mash Brooklyn and Detroit together. I mean, even these ugly-ass demons look like it.

Speaking of which, I got the idea that "leaving" isn't going to happen just like that so I'm kinda curious what kind of people I have to spend this eternity of torture with? Please tell me there's some actual people around instead of just these little red fuckers.

Also, just what kind of celebrities do we have? Any nasty dictator assholes or other murdering creeps taking up space somewhere?
